Remember last November when Willie Nelson was arrested for having pot on his tour bus in Texas?Well, the prosecutor has agreed to approach the judge with a special plea bargain.
He wants the judge to fine Nelson $100 and allow him to sing “Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain” as a form of community service in lieu of a more severe punishment.
Of course the judge, and Willie, still have to agree with the plan but chances are pretty good they will.
Normally the sentence would include up to three months in jail and a fine of $2,000-$5,000.
